I am lost for words when describing how eternally beautiful was Scarlett and Zac’s wedding day. With the weather forecast of torrential rains, I was definitely worried. But things took a turn and we had beautiful sunshine and a warm spring day. I was introduced to Scarlett through Cassie her Bridesmaid when I shot Cassie’s wedding in 2018 and Scarlett was the bridesmaid. As Scarlett says since then she wanted me to be her wedding photographer. This trust and love definitely humble’s me.
Scarlet and Zac met each other when they were backpacking around Europe. Scarlett is from the UK and Zac is a typical country Australian lad. After spending too many drunk evenings together travelling through Europe, Scarlett decided to move to Australia (The best country in the world.) So she followed this country boy to a new country and one thing led to another and we have ourselves one of the finest weddings of 2021. During the speeches, there was a definite surprise delivered by Scarletts Dad who couldn’t be at the wedding due to Covid restriction. He made sure he sent a pre-recorded speech to be played for Scarlett. Those beautiful words not only moved Scarlett but pretty much everyone there had a tear in their eye (guilty as charged).
This was my first wedding after a long Covid lockdown so I was definitely very nervous and equally excited to be back. I had great pleasure capturing their memories and I am eternally grateful to Scarlett and Zac for trusting me with their photos. I wish them all the joy and happiness in their lives.
Thanks
Nik
